Thanks to the generous response of donors and caring community members like you--we've expanded our capacity to respond to the growing needs of our communities with the launch of a brand new initiative, United Way's 2-1-1--a free and confidential, easy-to-use, non-emergency community information and referral line, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. United Way’s 2-1-1 provides:

·         A central contact point to connect people with needed human services.

·         Early intervention and resource support for people in times of personal and

      family crisis.

·         Simplified access through the maze of social service programs that without

      guidance can become a barrier to some individuals.

·         A comprehensive inventory of human services for the community

      (resource lists, directories, publications and electronic databases)

·         Valuable statistics which reveal the gaps in service and help to establish

      funding priorities.
