provides:
· A central contact point to connect people with needed human services.
· Early intervention and resource support for people in times of personal and
family crisis.
· Simplified access through the maze of social service programs that without
guidance can become a barrier to some individuals.
· A comprehensive inventory of human services for the community
(resource lists, directories, publications and electronic databases)
· Valuable statistics which reveal the gaps in service and help to establish
funding priorities.
