Employee Volunteering
Our Volunteer Center staff can provide a range of services enabling businesses to impact the community through volunteerism. We help companies create or enhance employee volunteer programs that address the needs of the business and the community. We can assist you with:
- setting community involvement goals
- developing a program and promoting employee volunteer involvement
- selecting appropriate volunteer opportunities aligned to your mission
- matching your business to a specific agency partner for strategic alliances
Business Volunteer Network (BVN)
The Volunteer Center in partnership with the Portage County Business Council is in the process of establishing a BVN. The Portage County BVN is your local resource for developing and coordinating workplace volunteer efforts provides programs that can help build employee skills and attitudes that foster organizational commitment, company loyalty, and personal fulfillment. Benefits of the BVN will be:
- Exchange best practices as they relate to corporate volunteerism.
