Established in 1984, members of the Stevens Society ensure that financial resources are available to improve lives and create lasting change in our community. Last year, contributions from more than 700 Stevens Society members accounted for nearly 34% of the total dollars raised through the United Way of Portage County campaign.
The Stevens Society members are recognized annual at the following giving levels:
· Bronze ($500-$749)
· Silver ($750-$999)
· Gold ($1,000-$2,499)
· Platinum ($2,500-$4,999)
· Diamond ($5,000-$9,999)
· De Toqueville Society ($10,000)
Please join this group of caring, generous individuals who lead by example. Your contribution will support families, develop children and youth, provide basic needs, and promote health, healing and crisis intervention throughout Portage County.
In 1839, George Stevens stood on the bank of the Wisconsin River at the foot of what is now Main Street with a vision of a community of people living together and supporting each other through life’s challenges and rewards. United Way’s Stevens Society is one way this vision of compassion continues within our community today.
With your help, we will inspire hope and build new roads to a stronger community.
