For years, United Way’s Community Diaper Drive has helped families in Portage County access diapers and other necessities for their children. As we’ve listened to our community partners, we’ve also seen the growing need for basic hygiene products that many families struggle to afford. Today, the drive has expanded into a Community Diaper & Hygiene Drive. Each year between Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, community members and organizations come together to donate diapers, wipes, formula, hygiene items, and funds that help stock Laurel’s Little Diaper & Hygiene Bank and support 10 community partners and agencies' distribution sites throughout Portage County.
