The following unrestricted grants were made from the Portage County COVID-19 Relief Fund (PCCRF) in support of direct relief programs to assist individuals and families impacted by the ongoing pandemic.

Learning Centers for Wednesdays for Virtual Learning for Students in the SPASD
This is a joint effort between the Boys & Girls Club and the YMCA. They will be providing safe places for students to go on Wednesdays and will provide meals, E-Learning support,  youth development programming, supervision by trained staff and academic support from the school district.

To help support mental health programs for students.

CREATE Portage County
Create will be working on a project with the Front Line Club to provide wellness trainings to front line workers. The workshop will explore the stressful realities of frontline work and its effects on our minds and bodies. It will explore realistic ways of coping with busy work schedules, caseloads, personal life stressors, and maintaining health.

Salvation Army
To provide rent and/or mortgage assistance, as well as transportation assistance to individuals and families disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.

Feed Our Healthcare Heroes
This project will feed Healthcare workers who are directly treating COVID patients once a week for the next three months. Many of these healthcare workers are working overtime to meet patient care needs and the goal of this project is to allow them a break to spend more time with their family.
